Coaches Corner

Below are links to certifications you must complete to be a coach with the Whitestown Youth Hockey Organization.


To be a coach at WYHA, you must register for a USA Hockey Membership, take a USA Hockey CEP class, pass a Background Check, take and pass the USA Hockey Safe Sport Online Training, and complete an Age Specific Module for the age group you will be coaching. Please find links below for all credentials:

NOTE: All fees for the coaching requirements are reimbursed by WYHA (for WYHA Coaches & Board Members)
USA Hockey Registration, SafeSport, Age Specific Module & Background Check must be completed and current BEFORE you set foot on the bench or ice, NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
*The ONLY certification you can wait on is the level certification if you have a current certification that expires on or after12/31 (Mite coaches may stay expired as long as you completed your level 1). Even if yours is set to expire after 12/31 we still need your CEP number!

2019-2020 Season Coaching Clinics Have Been Announced

Coaching Education Program Coordinator Kevin Moore has released the training clinics scheduled to take place in the Central Section this season.

Levels - 1 -2 - 3   September 22  – Skaneateles, NY

Levels - 1 - 2 - 3   October 27  – Clinton, NY

Levels - 1 - 2 - 3   November  2  - Binghamton, NY

Level - 4   September 7 & 8 - Uniondale, NY

Level - 4   December 7 & 8 - Fredonia, NY
