 Welcome to the Pack!

Whitestown Youth Hockey Association's mission is to foster an environment in which everyone works together to provide a hockey program that facilitates life and hockey skills.

2022-23 Registration NOW OPEN for ALL LEVELS

Team/Player Cost Breakdown

As another hockey season quickly approaches, we want to educate our memberships on the base costs associated with a season of hockey. New Hartford Youth Hockey and Whitestown Youth Hockey's partnership as Oneida County Hockey Club (OCHC) are looking forward to working together in the coming year to provide a strong hockey program in our area. Please note, the numbers below are not what our 2022-2023 registration costs will be. This is simply a snapshot we want to share. Over the years, our programs have diligently worked to keep costs down as ice rentals, referees and other operating expenses have been on the rise.   Click HERE to review the cost breakdown.

Thank you,

Dear WYHA Families,

The New York Mills-Yorkville 2022 Thursday Night Summer Concert Series has offered Whitestown Youth Hockey Association a great opportunity to  raise money and support the community!  We are looking for volunteers(2 per night) to work a concession table which would sell a variety of food items such as hot dogs, chips, peanuts, candy, water, soda and possibly run a 50/50 Raffle.  The plan is to bring back our concession stand this upcoming hockey season which requires parents to do volunteer hours. Anyone who volunteers at the summer concerts would be able to have their time count towards concession hours.  As an organization, we are trying to raise money for new equipment, clinics and tournament fees.  Please feel free to email Sheena Frisicano, Concession Manager, at: with any questions. If you would like to help WYHA get a head start on fundraising for the 2022-2023 season, please use the SignUpGenius link below.

 Thank you for your support!

An Important Reminder For Everyone

Officiating in youth sports across the country is being confronted with similar fates: a decline in officials due to a lack of respect from adults. Many young officials put their stripes on for the first time, excited and eager to pursue a hockey dream. Just like our kids on the ice playing, they are learning and perfecting their craft. But the dream, too many times, is met with yelling or arguing from adults at rinks.

There is a human element to officiating. Every person that walks into a rink is accountable for his or her actions. As adults, we can set positive examples to our children about how to handle conflict and disagreements, with respect. And at its core, hockey is built on respect.

That handshake line we all love at the end of the hockey games? The stick salute to our opponents? It's all to show respect.

Read more about how we can enact the change we wish to see when it comes to respect, and how we can build a better future for our young officials.

14U Team Wins Northern Berkshire Youth Hockey League Spring Fling

14U Northern Berkshire Spring Fling Tournament Winners

On Sunday, March 13th, the Whitestown 14U Travel team won the Northern Berkshire Youth Hockey League Spring Fling 14U tournament, defeating the Northern Berkshire Black Bears, 3-2, in the Championship game. The two teams tied 1-1 during the round-robin portion of the tournament so the final was expected to be a tough game for both sides. After falling behind 1-0, goals by Chad Hull, Chris Jennings and Kyle McReynolds staked the Wolfpack to a 3-1 lead. Thanks in large part to the outstanding goaltending of Mason Stanton, Whitestown staved off a Northern Berkshire surge in the 3rd period and survived a late Black Bears goal for the victory. The championship game even got some coverage on a local Berkshires area website at:

The tournament was also notable for an all-Whitestown matchup on Saturday between the 14U Travel Team and the 14U House 1 team. Prior to the game, both teams took an opportunity for a pre-game Wolfpack photo. All of the players skated hard, battled furiously, and demonstrated outstanding Wolfpack pride and spirit in competing until the very end. In the end, the Travel Team won 3-0 in a fun and enjoyable game for all of our players and families.

The tournament was a fun way to end the season for both teams -- many thanks to our coaches and families for a great weekend in Massachusetts!

OCHC Pee Wee Travel Team Snowbelt JAM a huge success!

OCHC Travel Team Snowbelt Finalists

The OCHC Travel Team had a very successful Snowbelt Jam hosted right here at the Whitestown Rink the weekend of March 4-6!    WYHA would like to thank the Pee Wee Coordinator, Tammy Hart, and all of the OCHC parents for volunteering their time and energy into making this a success.
The OCHC Team was a finalist in the Snowbelt Jam and although they did not take home the win, it was an incredible game full of nail-biting moments!   Great Job OCHC!
